Volume 7, Issue 7.3 gathers fifteen papers of the Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine sections of the Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences "Gheorghe Ionescu-Sisesti", presented at the Academy's anniversary session of 29 May 2025.

Cattle and buffalo research covers accessory corpus luteum induction in assisted reproduction, the relationship between calving period and average daily gain in Romanian buffaloes, the effect of animal gender on beef production indices in Aberdeen Angus, reproductive indices of indigenous breeds at RDSB Targu Mures, cannabis oil (CBD) in the metabolic profile of calves at weaning, the influence of calving season on milk yield and somatic cell count, and the dynamics of milk composition in buffalo cows along the lactation curve. Sheep research addresses the freezing preservation of ram semen, meat production performance in intensively fattened lambs of native breeds, performance in white and pink line Karakul of Botosani lambs, the effect of differentiated grassland fertilization on green mass and milk production in Tsigai sheep, and the evolution of genetic factors in the new biological creations at R.D.I.S.G.B. Palas Constanta. Veterinary medicine is represented by a molecular epidemiological study on Toxoplasma gondii circulation in Romanian wildlife. Two further papers examine precision livestock farming and reproductive biotechnologies, and management strategies for reducing labour dependency on dairy farms.

Papers are published in English, with abstracts in English and Romanian.
